“Excellent accommodation close to everything”

The rooms were incredibly spacious, with comfortable large bed and a big bathroom. Staff were OK, they were efficient but lacked the welcoming touches often found in large hotels. While the rack rate was high, last minute specials are very affordable. They offer free airport shuttles and have several eateries on site.

There is a mall across the road and easy access to public transport.

We are delighted to know you have enjoyed your stay with us; and were satisfied with our rooms. Our hotel is conveniently located within close proximity to the Changi Airport, East Coast Park, town, places of interest, fantastic eateries and many more. In addition to the Parkway Parade Shopping Centre across the road, a new I12 Katong Shopping Centre has just opened behind our hotel. In your future visits, you may like to consider exploring it to enjoy more retail stores, eateries and their brand new movie theatre screening the latest blockbuster movies. When it comes to shopping, eating and cultural experience, this area definitely has one of the best options in Singapore.

Getting around Singapore is a breeze as public transportation is easily accessible from our hotel. In addition, our complimentary shuttle services to and from the Changi Airport and Paya Lebar MRT Station helped to ease the travelling. With effect since mid-December 2011, we are also providing complimentary shuttle services to Marina Bay, Esplanade and ION Orchard during the weekends and public holidays at 10am, 11am and 12pm.

It is with much regret that we did not meet your desired level of service during your recent stay with us. Thank you for sharing your experience with us so that we can review and improve our processes to provide a better service experience for our guests.

“Good place to stay if you are on business trip”

Good points:
1. Good rooms with lovely beds and big bathrooms.
2. Beautiful pool
3. Good cafeteria
4. Lot of food joints in and around.
5. Malls in the same building and right across the road
6. Room rate is slightly on upper side

Room Tip: You can decide to stay at pool facing or sea facing room

“Good but not for more than 2 weeks”

I went there while packing from singapore to melbourne. The room was nice. Leasure is a pourling, the pool is stinky and full of germs. Its next to an old ugly plaza with nothing so I call it the middle of nowhere! Breakfast was good until the eggman was replaced by a grandma who keeps making it raw with broken yokes.. Its good and close to changi airport so Its good for a shortstay.

Room Tip: Its singapore so its full of noise at night with gurian smells

“very expensive hotel for less than average service, rooms and location”

We travelled with an infant to Singapore to find out that almost none of Singapore hotels provide you with a baby cot, we then contacted Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore to ask if they have a cot and they assure us that they do and they will have it ready for us on arrival.
On the confirmation email there was a note that cots will be subject to availability. We then rang the hotel and said that we made a booking based on the promise from the service manager that we will have a cot on arrival.
it took the hotel more than 2 days to email us back the final confirmation for the cot.
We arrived the hotel at 23:00pm to find out that the cot is still not in the room!
We then found out that the kitchen is closed and the most reasonable thing to eat is hamburger, that took more than 6 calls to find out, we been told someone from the kitchen will call us and never did.
When food arrived finally it was pretty much disgusting.
Overall- I wouldn't recommend this hotel to tired parents who expect the room to be clean and to have the facilities promised to them I also wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are hungry and after a long flight!
