The room was spacious, tidy, and modern. The same can be said for the bathroom. Room included couch and TV. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. HOWEVER, I had stayed all over SE Asia in less modern accommodations and this is the place where some little bug decided to crawl in my ear while sleeping.

The main problem with the Quality Hotel in Singapore is that there isn’t anything in the immediate area. Though the rail system can be reached in a 20 minute walk, yhat's a long 20 minutes when it's super humid outside. There aren’t any places to eat in the area. The hotel restaurants are often crowded and over priced. Internet use was expensive and it was inconvenient to return to the desk to get more time for the internet.

This hotel is just so-so, for it's price, we can't really complain, although it didn't quite live up to the expectations they did boast about.

The site came off attractive with free internet, however, we discovered the internet was only good for one (one laptop, or phone or ipad, just one).

The breakfast buffet had a variety which wasn't very good -- food was on the cold side and not very familiar breakfast items.

The room was alright with a super tiny safe and nowhere to lock my laptop safely against. For some strange reason, the airconditioner was covered with a tourist brochure -- perhaps it was too cold without it? The shower was alright, strong ang hot.

I would recommend this hotel for those who will be out almost the whole day and not just be hanging around the area as there very few places to eat in the neighborhood -- only thing interesting was a movie theater.

This is one of the most horrible hotels I have ever encountered in my 15 years of travels. On checking in, they did not have my booking and required me to forward to them my reservation. The establishment wanted to change 50% above the booking rate for which I booked as a deposit. What crap.

They have redefined the meaning of slow. The Oxford definition of slow should be defined as Quality Hotel, Singapore. Service is absolutely terribly non-existence.

I stay for one night and you cannot imagine the stress level. Breakfast was an amazement. Imagine having COLD porridge, Cold Scrambled eggs, COLD mushrooms, COLD Coffee, WARM Orange Juice. the food must have been cooked over night, stored in the fridge and served in the morning. And they serve Breakfast at 7am!! and its still COLD!!! Other normal hotels serve at 6-6.30 and they still manage to serve warm food.

Quality Hotel should be renamed NO-Quality Hotel. In fact, the establishment should be demolished and ride off the face of the earth.

Won't recommend it to anyone except my worst enemies, and hopefully it collapses with them in it.

Location
Quality Hotel Singapore is not located the best possible spot, and certainly not in walking distance of anything worth seeing. From the rooms, you are able to see some green areas, but again nothing worth seeing.
The main impression from a location perspective is, that the hotel is situated at a junction between two main roads (Balestier Rd. and Moulmain Rd.) and a highway Central Expy.

Reception and checking in
Reception is nice and clean, and our checking in went smooth - at first (see below).

Room
Our room was on ninth floor, and there was a lot of noise from some renovation going on on 10th floor. Entering our room, it became apparent, that they had made a mistake in our reservation. We were a family of 5 people, and at best we could only fit in 3. After some discussions, they did give us a larger family room, in which we could all fit in (with a mattress on the floor), but still relatively tiny.

Room was clean.

Restaurant
We only had breakfast at the restaurants, since we were out all day. Breakfast was fine and tasty. Restaurant is clean and service Ok. For those, who would prefer something else than asian breakfast, there was only little choice.
