“Fabulous place to stay and relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We stayed at this gorgeous resort for only a few days. We wished we had more time. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful. The food is divine. And the pool is huge. Enough to have many families in without bumping into each other.

We were able to get connecting rooms, which on this particular vacation was difficult so that was hugely impressive for us as a family.

It is also on Sentosa Island in Singapore which meant we were close to alot of 'family' attractions (things like Universal Studios). There is a bus that picks you up and drops you off along a route that takes you directly to places you want to go. And it was free for those who stay on the island. It made it very easy to get around, while at the same time you got a chance to see other things along the way.

One of the things our family loved were all the peacocks around the resort. They were stunning and a little 'unusal' for us to see so close and so many.

One thing we found on the island was that there were tons of mosquitos, so do take mosquito repellant. Not the resorts fault, just the time of year I think.

If I was going back to Singapore this would be my first choice of hotel. LOVED it.

“Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

I spent a week here on business which meant l did not have a lot of spare time to enjoy this beautiful paradise on earth sadly. The Sentosa Resort and Spa is a beautiful resort set upon lush gardens with hundreds of frangipani trees. The food at the breakfast buffet was great with a huge variety including delicious Chinese and Indian. On my first morning there a peacock wandered around while l was eating breakfast, the birdlife was amazing, somedays even a monkey turns up l am told.
The rooms are lovley, modern and spacious with tranquil garden views. Staff friendly, helpful and efficent. Good service as well. Spa, Garden and Seven Eden all lovely and well equipped.
Would definetly recommend and come back to stay again! Very impressed!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

My husband and i spent 4 days end November in a junior suite.
We have been to Sentosa before but this time we were really impressed.
Hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, flowers and water everywhere, not to mention the fantastic "black" pool.
Room was great with a very comfortable bed.
Food OK if not great and quite expensive.
Wer will deffinitively be backl

“Just pure paradise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

This place is absolutely stunning! My family stayed a total of 5 nights at the Sentosa and found the accommodation probably one of the best we have ever stayed in. On check in, you are just blown away with the open lobby, beautiful large ponds that surround the pathways, friendly staff and vibrant bird life. The staff, whether it be front desk, concierge or someone at a restaurant/bar were all friendly and had great customer service skills.

They attended to our matters straight away, For example, we found the beds a tad harder than what we are used to, but found in their hotel info booklet in the room that pillow tops were available when requested. We rang the front desk and ask for pillow tops to be placed on our mattresses. Housekeeping was then at our door, ready to fulfill the request. Then it was like sleeping in heaven - the best mattress ever!

We were in a non-smoking room, but the people above us must have had a smoking room, because it wafted down into ours, which resulted in quite an unpleasant cigarette smell. After ringing the front desk, they came and sprayed our room and that solved the problem. We were happy with the way the staff dealt with customer matters.

The grounds are excellent. I highly recommend the spa too. Concierge will arrange a golf buggy to drive you there, as it is a bit of a distance. We spent a lot of time in the pool and found it relaxing and quiet. There were a few people staying at the resort, but like some other reviews indicate, there were NEVER loud kids or masses of noisy people. It was a QUIET RESORT. Maybe they were just unlucky.

Transport picks you up at the lobby - yellow line bus takes you around Sentosa for free. While the Vivocity shuttle takes you over to the mainland to Vivocity. I have stayed at other hotels on Sentosa and this is the first that has had a yellow Sentosa bus actually come to the resort. For others you have to walk to the bus stop. This was a big tick for us. Breakfast was also tasty and was a highlight of our day. The selection was incredible and the bird life made it entertaining.

I highly recommend this resort - I know I will be returning and will make this my first choice for accommodation in Singapore.

“Loved it!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012 via mobile

We were greeted so nicely by the reception staff I felt like a celebrity. We also got mango ice cream on arrival which was lovely.
The rooms were big and even had a coffee machine. Really deep bath and nice shower and bathroom facilities.
The pool was perfect, we swam everyday.
The restaurant for breakfast is really nice and lots of options on the buffet. Cheaper than most of the hotels if you are a guest.
We came back from shopping one day and it was raining, the concierge ran out to us with umbrellas and the reception staff were waiting with towels to dry down, such a nice touch.
We would definitely stay here again, it is close to the monorail and walking distance to resort world and universal studios.
