We had a wonderful stay at Fat Jimmy's Resort just days ago. Package we bought was worth it! Thanks to Plejee.com and Cheche of Fat Jimmy's for the great vacation :) The resort staff were helpful, accommodating, receptionist was always smiling and very honest & friendly. The room we stayed at (#208) was a Superior Room with Bath Tub. This would be the biggest part of this trip that we'd miss.. hahaha! My family and I would love to stay at Fat Jimmy's again in the future. It was definitely worth it! Some guests are hesitant to stay at Fat Jimmy's because of its location; we didn't mind that it was steps away from D'Mall wet market area or 5 mins away from the white beach if you take the side road of the resort which has the direct access to the beach. This is our 2nd trip to Boracay this 2011; we previously stayed at Bulabog because of a promo too but if ever Fat jimmy's opens another promo, we'd absolutely avail one again! :)

I stayed at Fat Jimmy's for 2nights and I have slept well. The only problem that I didn't like is the location of their resort. It is in front of the main road, and you have to like walk for 10 minutes going to the beach.

There are two ways on how you can reach the beach, one is by passing through the wet market where people will stare at you if you are wearing your swimwear with cover-up. The next one would be a residential area, where some of the spots were flooded by the rain.

Okay, so now for the room and for the resort itself. The staffs were all really friendly, and they will assist you with everything. I chose the superior room because I needed a room which has television and ref. The room was clean, and there are no foul odor. The bathroom is clean as well.

So the only problem here for me would be the location. I would love an easy access to the beach, without passing through a residential area or through a wet market where people will stare at you.

If you are looking for a place to stay in the beautiful island of Boracay, Fat Jimmy's is definitely worth a try. We got a standard room good for 2pax for P2,500/night with breakfast. The room was nice and clean but what annoyed me was the interior design of the cr. It looked messy. But at least the heater worked. Breakfast was yummy but they served plain rice instead of garlic. Service was great. The receptionist was really nice. I forgot to ask her name though. Oh and they serve 24/7 coffee and tea. I just don't like the location. It is a two minute walk to the beachfront but the alleys near Fat jimmy's is not safe at all. It is near the wet market so expect awful smell from the raw food. There were lots of tambays in the alleys. Imagine if you are wearing super short shorts. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay in Fat jimmys even if the place surrounding it is not safe. I still give this place two thumbs up! :)

We just need a place where we can leave our things, take showers, and sleep for two nights. We were given a 3d/2n accommodation with breakfast for only P2000 per person in our group, really cheap, so we made the downpayment right away. LOL.
Location is good because it's far from the beach front, we can sleep well without hearing all the noise from the bars. Didn't spend much time there since we're mostly outside by the beach during the day. Having a clean spacious room, comfortable big beds, working a/c, and shower is all we need, and we got it all! Will definitely go back.Ü
