“I loved it. I will stay there again.”

As I said - I loved it.
I was there with a friend and we spent 7 nights at the Sun Village Central. You just can't find better locaton then this one. They had bands playing every night on a small stage just few steps from the hotel. now if you need absolute silence to sleep and you go to bed early - it might not work for you - you will here the music from outside. But I liked, that I can fall asleep listening to the music :)
The breakfast is great and you have options to choose from. And they cook it when you order - unlike some places I've been before.
We had a nice room with a balcony. The balcony was small but you dont realy need it since the restorants and bars are right there so you can go have your drinks on the beach. the bathroom was nice and CLEAN. there was not a bath-tub, but who need a tub if you have the sea right outside.
The staff are VERY FRIENDLY and always with a smile on their faces :) very helpfull about trips as well.
The only down side is there is no fridge in the room to keep your water cold. - I think they should have a water dispencer in the hallway to solve the problem.
I hope I will go there again sometime this year.

“Unexpectedly cozy”

If you came to Boracay for the beach, food and fun, this is truly a great place to stay.
No need to walk far to reach the beach and restos are abundant since its literally a few steps away from D Mall. What came as a surprise were the food & drinks in Sun Village. We were greeted with a welcome drink which was blended wonderfully. You have lots of choices for breakfast meal and their Eat-All-You-Can Mongolian Grill was superb. Right beside the hotel is a bar where they have a live acoustic band playing at night, you get free music while enjoying your dinner or just hanging out.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. You easily feel at ease. The room is clean, with hot water for bath and cable TV to entertain your kid.

Since we came in October where the weather is erratic - at times cloudy, at times sunny and at times drizzling - the only constant is it is very windy! The beach front view were covered with plastic and bamboo sticks to prevent the sand from going to your food.
This goes for all establishment at the beachfront. Nonetheless, this is a great choice.

my brother and i stayed here during our bora trip last july 7-9, 2009. wat i like about this resort is the 3 days 2 nights package they gave us, for this package i only payed 5thou- 2 nyts room accomodation, free huge and sumptuous breakfast for 2 days, beach front location, very friendly staff and free foot massage for my borther and me although we didnt avail it because we want to go home early . the only thing that i dont like is that the aircon not so cold, many mosquitoes under the bed our first day was the tv the whole nyt was not functioning well but still the place great.

“The Heart Of Boracay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 April 2009

Just arrived from Boracay a few hours ago. The location of Sun Village Central is just superb because it really is at the heart of Boracay- you're at the beachfront while still near DMall and the rest of Bora's central district. And it's situated in Station 2 which we love because station 2 honestly has the best part of White Beach (Station 1's sand is artificial already and even though the wealthy ones stay there, the poorest stay with them on the beach to sell their goods which can make you feel extremely guilty of having to spend and enjoy your vacation to the fullest) If you're like me and my friends who don't stay in their rooms as much and go there really just to sleep, bathe, and have breakfast, then I totally recommend this tiny yet comfortable hotel! But if you're really looking for that hotel that has all the luxuries of a gym, swimming pool, and total silence, then sun village isn't for you. Another very big plus is their staff! WOW! They just make you feel so at ease and take the initiative to ask what we need and when we need it. Plus, they encourage you to indulge more which I appreciate because they don't make you feel guilty of having to spend so much like most hotel staffers do. Another thing that I love about this hotel is their breakfast that has really big servings! WELL WORTH YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY! The only problem I have however is their water system- there were a few times during our one week stay that the heater didn't work. BUT AGAIN, that's the only problem about it! I'm sure you can deal with that! Try their massage services as well---I tried the massage service near BomBom and another near DMall and I have to say...Sun Village has THE best and most relaxing massage service! They don't rush your massage like what the other two did. Plus they smile a lot, which really brightens up your day!

“Our Family Escapade @ Bora March 12-15, '08”

Our family had a great time during our 4days/3nights stay in this hotel. The staff are friendly & accommodating. The room is nice & cozy, bedsheets & towels are clean & being replaced everyday. The menu is limited, however, the food is delicious. The Sun Bar is a nice place to stay in the night where you can relax & listen to music nearby, gaze the stars, listen to the bustling of the waves, while eating delectable food. If you're looking for a real nice place to stay in Bora which is really a beachfront, we highly recommend Sun Village Beachfront Hotel! RonGerlieRA&MarianBejosano
