My cousins and I stayed at this resort sometime in February of this year. I would definitely recommend this place to people who are looking for a nice place to stay (don’t expect lavish accommodation) without burning a hole in their pockets.
The place is ok. Sheets are clean, towels (although not the plush cotton towels which are quite nice) are changed everyday. service is fairly efficient. Its location is also a plus (between station 1 and 2). It is a beachfront resort and it is literally just beside d'mall the boracay. All the good places to eat and drink are mere minutes away... The rooms have the basic amenities: 21 inch TV, aircon. No room ref and phone. Their bathrooms are small but clean- something that’s very important to me! (but bring your own toiletries!)
the downside though(just small details really):
the staff members get a little bit confused every time we order at the coffee shop. Orders would have to be given several times and they sometimes make mistakes with the bill. also try to get a room upstairs. Some of my cousins had to stay in the downstairs room and its right under the stairs (and back of the coffee shop), which you need to use to get to the 2nd floor. You wont be able to have much peace and quiet as you can hear all the noise from everyone coming and going. Finally, if you are staying in the VIP Oceanview suite...watch out for the floorboard near the foot of the bed...i got a few splinters on my foot, which i complained about as the wooden floor had a big long gash in it which is somewhat inadequately covered by a rug.
even with minor complaints I would still recommend this as they have one of the lowest local rates for beachfront accommodations in Boracay!
