i initially tried booking with them through email but received no reply. however, when i did get ahold of them via their mobile number, the reservation went smoothly. they sent us a proper quotation by email--very professional--which included payment options and procedures, as well as the room number and other details.
finding the place was a breeze. all the tricycle drivers from the entry port in boracay island knew where the hotel was. it's along station one, close to the famed rock. its reception area faces the concrete main road at the back, and there's a small path that leads you to the beach. the place is quiet during the day, but since it's close to cocomangas, guilly's, and other bars, there's a lot of action at night, too.
our rooms were upstairs, in the back, and i found them so lovely. we stayed in room number 7, which was huge! it also had quaint antique furniture that gave it a very homey feel. the room had a bathroom, air conditioning, TV, mini bar, safe, a table and two chairs, and lots of closet space. it was very clean (the room and the hotel itself), and service was friendly and prompt enough.
breakfast is included with every reservation (breakfast for two per room), and all of us were very happy with what we had each morning. the choices are varied enough, and the food is delicious.
we did encounter some problems with the shower. if a lot of people in the hotel are taking showers at the same time as you are, water is hard to come by.
true home hotel isn't the cheapest you will find on the island, but for what you get, it sure is worth it!
