I stayed at Boracay Beach Resort for 3 nights in January 2012. It's located near d'Mall and a lot of bars that get busy at night, but it's still about 3-4 resorts away from the noise (which I consider a good thing). Cafe Del Mar, between the resort and the beach and where breakfast is served, has really great food. For breakfast, there is a selection of about 8 different set meals. I had a different one each day and all of them were delicious. I also had lunch there once, the lemon shrimp pasta, and even though the serving was quite generous I wolfed it all down. Now as for the actual accommodations, I stayed in a standard bungalow, which was very, very modest. The room was just slightly larger than the queen sized bed, but since I hardly spent any time there anyway (why would you hole up in your room when there's a gorgeous beach outside), it was fine. The bathroom was clean and decent. What's nice is the bungalow has a little veranda outside, with chairs and a hammock. Only thing missing is I kind of wished there was a pool where I could swim at night. Service on the hotel side is excellent, but some of the restaurant staff could be a bit friendlier. Overall, I had a pretty good stay, and recommend this resort to travelers looking for good value for their money and who intend to spend much more time on the beach and exploring than they do in the hotel.

my gf and i stayed here for 4 nights on january '12. we booked a garden view room because we found out that these rooms were newly built/renovated so it must be clean. but on arrival we were upgraded to seaview room. no complaints here as we were just too tired from the flight+transit+flight+boatride+taxi ride to the hotel. check in was very fast considering that we arived at the hotel way before the check in time (9am). emailed them bout our early arrival and if we could check in earlier but was told that its not possible due to full booking. somehow they managed. very grateful for that... :) we were served mango shakes on entering the room, which was delicious!!! room was very clean n cosy.. separate tv area n bedroom, bathroom was spacious enough. as long as it was clean we were happy. bedroom was facing the garden so no problem with noises from the beachside. tanning beds available for guests. location of the hotel is very convenient as restaurants n shops were just around the corner. breakfast at the hotel was not bad, bt nothing spectacular i gues. we would definitely stay here again. worth every penny..

What a great little resort. Located just north of d'Mall at the cafe del mar bar, this is an excellent resort. the garden bungalow is a great little room, very private, very quiet with one big queen bed and a smaller single bed. the bathroom is excellent and big walk in shower. the floors are tiled which keeps the room cool. you can leave your air conditioner on so the room is cooled all day. the staff are great and the breakfast excellent. location is prime and in a little more quiet area but still close to everything. wifi is good and free, and although i had the furthest bungalow from the reception, i still got good wifi in my room for my laptop which was great. will definitely stay here again

This is where me and my friends stayed for our Grad Trip last Oct 2010, we stayed at the detached bungalow and we couldnt say much more! Upon reservation, they were fast in replying to all my queries. The moment we arrived, the staff-in-charge was there in the airport and then they had welcome drinks ready for us. We had our own hammock, beach chairs and hanging rack in our mini house. They even had a really plentiful breakfast menu. The staff were really accomodating with our request such as trying if our helmet diving cd was working to asking where we were going to spent Halloween. I would love to go back to this resort when I go back to Boracay
