“Never Fails Us! Guaranteed Great Holiday!”

Why do I keep coming back to Artista? It never fails my expectations and provides me the perfect holiday I so long for. I've stayed at Artista for the first time in 2009 and been staying here every time I go on holiday to the Philippines. As a small boutique hotel (with only 9 bedrooms), you get the comforts of an artistically designed accommodation coupled with personal care from the owners themselves! The owners and staff made sure we were looked after from the time we arrived to when we left the place. That's service for you. You cannot go wrong at the location as you have the beach literally a few steps as you walk out from your bedroom door. Please bear in mind that this area of Boracay is not along the busy stretch of Boracay's famous white beach but is located in a quiet cove about 10-15 minutes walk from Station1/2. Breakfast is one of the best things I look forward to at Artista. Our favourite is the crisped bacon, tomato and onion omelet w/ toast. Not to mention, the best brewed coffee in the island is served here at Artista! And to our delight, the owners gathered their guests over new year's eve to view the last sunset of 2011 and we were all treated to glasses of bubblies to welcome the new year!

Room Tip: For the room with the best view and most romantic, ask for room siete. I call it their honeymoon sui...

“perfect hospitality and relaxed luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

Great coffee, great breakfast included in the price, real hospitality from the relaxed owners, modern hot showers, spacious rooms... we've been here before and loved it! This time, they had no space, so we got put up at a very special rate in an 'emergency room'. Really just love this place... and anyone going to Boracay who loves fun in the evening, but sleeping through the night and early morning (without clubs and videoke) should consider Diniwid... it is just a walk around the rocks from Station 1... Artista's location is unbeatable!

Room Tip: Rooms are priced according to the luxury level... just ask for a look round!

“Almost perfect - But...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

This hotel is very classy, artsy, charming and nice, right on the beach with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Their breakfast menu is very limited, but they will make anything you ask for as long as they the ingredients.

But, if internet access is important to you, you might want to consider some other place, as their connection is completely unreliable. As everyone else, they blame this on their internet provider, but very often it is actually their wireless router causing the problems. The internet connection also always seem a lot more stable if you go to any of the restaurants with WiFi on White Beach.

That being said, otherwise the hotel is perfect! I cannot imagine there are any better hotels in this price range on Boracay!

“Hopefully we will return to Atrista!”

Stayed at Artista for 6 nights in October. It was fantastic hotel in a great location.
We had room 7 which had a terrace overlooking the beach which made for great sunsets (and sun rises if you wake up early enough). The rooms are clean and tidy, the breakfasts are great and all the staff are so helpful and kind, from the guys and girls how work there to the couple who manage the hotel.
The location cant be faulted. Its away from the bustle of the main town but either a cheap trike trip or walk along the beach when you do head in to town - transport to and from was always easy to get, just round the corner from the hotel. The beach there is perfect, with sandy seabed over most of it and also a coral reef (not amazing condition) for a spot of snorkling. We also got a boat ride one day, which one of the hotel guys (Mel) organised for us very quickly.
Overall the hotel is great and its the perfect location for a relaxing beach trip with all the adrenalin / activities and busy town restaurants and shops a quick and easy 5 min trip away.
Thanks for a fantastic stay. Pete/Jac

Room Tip: No 7 has great views, large room and terrace.

“Hidden Gem”

I have stayed at Artista twice already and I will return again for all the great reasons!

Located in a quiet area of Boracay, in a cove called Diniwid. Within easy walking distance to station 1 where all the action happens.

The hotel is boutique and so private that it feels so calm and very relaxing. The bedrooms are immaculate! The linens, toiletries and the simple but tasteful design of the rooms are unbeatable!

The service is excellent! Staff are very friendly and every so accommodating.
