my cabin consisted of a noisy air-con and a non working toilet, was not impressed. Went to check out the next day but was offered a hotel type room at the rear of the premises at the same price. It wasn't much better, which was a shame, for I would have stayed longer. It was cheap with a great location, maybe I was just unlucky, but I wouldn't risk it again.

Bans is where I stay when I want to enjoy Boracay with friends. I've stayed here twice and it's worth every penny. Granted, the cottages are simple and rustic but it totally fits the island vibe.

Location is perfect since it's on the edge of Station 1 so you can walk to the nice posh part of the beach, and you can also hang a left towards Station 2 where all the action is. You're literally in the middle of everywhere. However, the noise outside won't bother you since the cottages are inside the compound but the beach is within sight and a couple of steps away.

The staff is nice and approachable and would even prepare your boat and land transfers at a reasonable price.

The price is very reasonable, if u want comfort & luxury for your family don't pick this place. This place offers only a room to sleep in cowboy style ! great for a large family of >15-20 especially down to earth, low maintenance & would like to stay in Boracay for more than a day or two .
