Cocomangas is at the good part of Boracay Island where the beach isn't too crowded because of too many restaurants or too many boats.
Rooms are made of typical Filipino materials, like wood, bamboo and are a little small. But they're quite comfortable. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. But they do what they're designed for: a place of sleep.
The resort comes with its own restaurant and bar so breakfast can be included in the rates you paid for the room. And since it has its own bar, you don't have to go far away to drink with your companions.
The beach in front of the resort is very clean. And there are lots of shops beside the resort that offer services for water activities, including jet skis, diving, island hopping, parasailing, windsurfing, etc.
Resort staff are very helpful and very friendly. It's easy to talk to them and especially when you're having breakfast by the bar. They're very accommodating.
It may not be the greatest resort in Boracay but it's still good enough for me. It's far enough from Station 2 (where the restaurants are) so the beach doesn't feel too crowded. But it's near enough Station 2 so that going there, to where the people are, is still easy, if you're tired of the beach.
