This place is a DUMP!
When they say metres away from the beach they mean no view of the ocean unless you walk through a tiny dark alley across a busy street. After seeing our room, my husband and I tried backing out of staying there but was told that we would not get any refund because we had already checked in. Despite having prepaid up for all four nights, we decided to rough it out for one night and forfeit the others. What a nightmare that one night was! Whilst waiting for close to an hour for dinner we spotted rats running around the garden. We chose the TV instead of venturing into the dark alley but gave up on the TV as well because reception was horrible, and the remote control was faulty. Deciding to sleep away the night was also not succesful. We were kept up the whole night from pumping music across the street that went on till about 5am. The dogs in the house behind our hut barked periodically throughout the night, and chickens from the same house crowed before the crack of dawn right up till the time we checked out at 8am. It was more of a farmstay than a beach resort!
We were also bugged by a staff (when we checked in, before dinner, after dinner, before breakfast and after breakfast) who kept trying to sell us activities. Forget about visiting their supposed famous shooter bar either. It is no longer existant. We thankfully found a better place on the quieter side of station 1. For about the same price, the other hotel was paradise compared to the crappy cocomangas.
I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!
