“I rate ROYAL PARK HOTEL Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 April 2010

From the very beginning as i was looking for a hotel on station 1 I saw this royal park hotel online. I checked it online and inquire all about the hotel.
I emailed them early February to ask for the rates and detailed information. They always responded quickly. I always receive their emails after a day or 1 that I emailed them,
Then me and my friends decided to reserve a room at royal park. They were nice since they even extended the option date for a week since me and my friends are waiting for our salaries.
We don't expect too much since we haven't heard of the hotel. We also avail the airport transfers(additional 400php since we're coming from kalibo airport.
We arrived at kalibo airport and we we're picked up by one of the star west bus going to caticlan. (It's better to ride a bus from kalibo to caticlan because it's more comfortable than riding those vans.)
We arrived at caticlan at night and KUYA(forgot the name) immediately looked for me when we got down on the bus. He was nice and even carried 4 of our luggage even if i know that would be hard since we have really huge bags. He bought all the fees and what we just did is wait and then walk to the boat. Talking about HASSLE FREE traveling. We arrived at boracay and the Hotel has it's own Multicab going to the hotel. It was a 15min ride from the port to our hotel. The multicab is not aircon but it's spacious enough for us.
All of the people starting from the receptionist, room boy, waiters we're all so friendly.
They gave us welcome drinks upon arriving and carried our bags to our room.
We got the 110 room. It's the 1st room when you enter the hotel rooms. It's very near the lobby so it's quite nice.
The room was big enough for the 4 of us. It has drawers, hangers for our clothes. 2 double size beds that is good enough for 2 people.
Clean towels and the sheets we're clean. Since we're very hungry we called room service for our dinner and they just delivered it to out room.
The food was also good. We had tempura, fish, shrimp. they offer mostly seafoods.
The breakfast is just simple but it's ok. You have to choose if bacon, longanisa, corned beef. All served with egg, garlic rice(or plain) juices or nescafe coffee..
At noon we experienced a power outage but only from 10 mins cause we called them and they immediately did something about it and use their generator.
The air con is really COLD and the bed is comfortable to sleep in.
The comfort room is really big and it has a hot and cold shower.
It has 2 pillows but you can also ask them for some extra pillows for 50php per pillow.

It has cable tv that is complete with cable channels like hbo, star world etc.
it also has a small refrigerator for your food and drinks.
they have wifi service but only at the lobby and at the 2nd floor of the hotel But the connection is quite fast since we can update and upload photos using our phones.
All of us were partyholic. We chose station 1 so we can be very near the night spots like club paraw and guillys.Royal Park is very near Club Paraw and Guilly's. and all the night spots beside them. It's also near jony' s and jonah's & willy's rock.
We stayed at station 1 side most of the time cause it's very near and accessible at the hotel and that's what i love about the location of the hotel being in station 1. The hotel is also quiet and peaceful. you can't hear the hustle and bustle of boracay.

To sum it all up. If you are looking for a hotel that is very affordable and it's worth the price you can choose royal park. It's not as fancy at regency or pearl of the pacific but you will have a comfortable and relaxing stay here at royal park. It has all that you need.

“A Taste of Simple Pleasure and Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2010

Royal Park Hotel has been a gem from the start. From the beginning of my correspondence with them when I emailed them to inquire of their package for me and my friends (we were 7) until we leave.

We stayed there from Feb27 to Mar1. We emailed them to inquire on what package they can offer for our group and just a day after their operations manager immediately replied and even if we had follow-ups they were very much accomodating.

When we actually got there, we were surprised that the place is very cozy. The receptionists and the manager were there greeting us and gave us our welcome drinks. The iced tea is a sugar rush from our trip and they gave us a room upgrade and the service crew gladly assisted us on bringing our luggages to our rooms. The rooms are spacious and if it's okay with you to share a bed with a friend, the queen sized bed will be enough (especially most of your day, literally is spent outside!).

Wifi service is great as well as there is no lag when accessing it through our mobile phones. All of us were using it updating our Facebook accounts!

Room service is commendable especially they change our beddings and cleaned the room every start of the day without any inconvenience whatsoever. The aircon is a plus away from the summer heat and any major sunburn (haha!). There is no bathtub but the heater is already great to calm and soothe your tired body from any major activity. The breakfast is quite simple but it is suggested that when you go to Boracay, it's best you go around to hunt for treasured buffets and unique dishes from different resorts.

The resort is very near to anything you would want to do for your leisure: tattoo, scuba, island hopping; though I'm very sure when Astoria (beside it) finished its construction this will be a major competition for Royal Park. But hey, if you're after quality service in a very affordable price then Royal Park Hotel is your bet.

I will be returning this April and looking forward for another peaceful stay with Royal Park. This is the major plus of the place, it's in between the happenings and your haven for escape from the crowd. Unlike other resorts that even if their facilities are great, when you go out there's a lot of noise from a lot of people coming in all directions. While in Royal Park, you will think it's really that exclusive because there are no loud music nor unruly crowd.

good hotel, nice staff, but one thing i noticed they don't have hand towel.
And i don't like the location of the CR, people can see you outside once you forgot to close the door of the CR.
