“Little Piece of Paradise”

We booked the terraces for 10 nights and we were not disappointed with our choice.

The hotel is the last on the northern end of white beach in station 1. It is very peaceful and is one of the widest parts of the beach. The water is crystal clear and very safe for children. An approximate 20-30min walk to the main part of station 2 and D'Mall.

We had a deluxe double on the second floor. The rooms have recently been updated. They are very roomy with a huge bathroom with shower and bath. They were kept cleaned everyday by the lovely staff.

The view from the room is of the beach and the wonderful sunsets.

We normally only travel to 4+ star hotels but found this one to have lots of character and we couldnt have asked for a nicer stay. This is only your basic hotel with mini bar, room service, one restaurant, but it is truely a pleasant place to stay.

The only drawback was the breakfast. We love a buffet breakfast to get your day started and they only offered alacart and by day 10 the choice of 6 items was getting boring. Though the food was always fresh and tasty.

Outstanding location with, clean modern rooms and friendly caring staff. Before the end of our stay we were known by name and our 5 yr old son was playing on the beach with some of the local children.

Would recommend for those looking for a relaxed quite holiday and great beach for children (there is a pool which is about a 50 metre walk from the main rooms near the apartments).

Room Tip: We loved the second floor location as you had a great view of the beach under the palm trees. we ha...

“Reminiscent of good ol days”

Spacious resorts are hard to find in the island these days and Boracay Terraces just brought us back to the good old days when visiting the island was an escape. The beach is the widest in the island and its nestled by the cliff area with a great view of the sunset without the crazy crowd. I had my wedding here and it was so relaxing to have an intimate moment with my guests.

Room Tip: Families would love this. Choose the family rooms. They have the Taj rooms above the resto which is...

“excellent location - quiet part of the white beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2011

The Terraces were right on the quiet stretch of the white beach (40 steps from room door to sea) and it felt like our own private beach. The rooms were modern and spacious, appeared to be newly renovated. The staff were helpfull in all aspects. Houskeeping was good everyday and coffe and tea facilities provided. From the room we had wonderfull view of the beach and fantastic sunsets. breakfast was provided in the restaurant a few strides away. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from restaurants and bars, about 30 minutes walk to/from Dmall. the hotel didnt have swimming pool , but we really didnt need it. The sea was just perfect. We recommend this hotel if you are looking for quiet and relaxing time. Sunsets are unbelievable - just lie in your bed and watch it. We will certainly return in the future.

“Great location and views with large comfortable rooms at the quieter end of the beach about to get a renovation.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2010

Location is great for those that want a quieter time and a peaceful evening. There are a few restaurants along the beach nearby including Fridays, Kasbah and Nigi Too. You can walk to the more lively end but it is a 15 to 20 minute walk or take a tricycle. If you want to dance on the beach till the early hours I would not recommend it, but if you have a young child or just prefer to be a bit away from the action then it is fine.

The actual hotel itself has generous rooms and bathrooms and big balconies. It was built around 14 years ago and some of the fittings show it, in particular the AC is single unit and bangs in and out throughout the night as the compressor cuts in. The small fridge in the first room we had (we stayed for 19 nights and changed rooms after 2) actually competed with the AC but in the second room was better. The wood block floor was also coming apart and the quality of the internal fittings, shower etc. was not good. Thats the bad news, the place needs a total restoration but the good news is that it is getting one. The day after we left the whole place is to be gutted and replaced. I dont know if split level AC's are to be installed and that may be worth checking if you're a light sleeper, but otherwise it should be good.

I only had one other beef and that is the staff were attentive and wanted to please but they were devoid of training and most seemed to be on a work appreciation program. We had the wrong order delivered several times, all minor stuff but it can get irritating. The restaurant is okay if you dont feel like going away from the hotel, but I cant recommend it.

Without the forthcoming restoration this would have been a poor review but as it is about to get one, if you want to be on the beach, with great views and in a quieter area but not too remote from the nightlife then it is worth considering.

“Far away from everything? No way!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2008

It is true that the resort is located in the far end of Station 1 of the White Sand Beach. However, for this reason, the beach is all yours, just like a private beach. Each room has a
balcony and you can watch dawn and sunset from your own balcony. The room is spacious, perhaps too spacious for a couple like us. Bathroom is equipped with a showering cubicle and a bath-tub (which is very large). There's no hot water supply, but I do not mind. You don't really need hot water in a tropical island like Boracay. During my stay in the resort, the air-conditioner broke down once. We reported the peoblem to the
reception and it was fixed when we returned from the beach after lunch. Very impressive. If you like island hopping, ATV, Sunset sailing etc, resort can arrange for you with just a little premium, We don't mind as we don't bother to waste time / effort to
negotiate a good deal with vendors. Food is extremely cheap. It costs USD8 for a dinner buffet or USD15 if you want to have a fine dinner in a decent restaurant (e.g. Boracay Regency). Oh, forgot to mention breakfast, it was a la carte and
tasted good. We left the island at 6:00 am and and our breakfast
was ready at 5:30 am., excellent service! Resort has its own shuttle to take you to anywhere you like. USD2 only and 5 minutes to D-mall. Will I stay in this resort next time? Definitely.

p.s. the island, sands and water are extremely lovely. Strongly recommend this island to friends in tripadvisor!
