We stayed in Nami last Oct 2011 to celebrate our son's 3rd birthday. It was also his first time in Boracay and we must say he had a grand time. We guess that you can say a lot with the feel of the room when your 3 year old boy spends some time at the beach but requests we "go home" from time to time, going home meaning he wants to go back to our room. He just felt good about being there. The room views are amazing. The food in the restaurant is reasonably good. The staff are friendly. There was just a slight mishap about our reservations with the front desk staff upon arrival due to a miscommunication with the Manila office. The staff was telling me he could not reach the main office for about 4 hours but I was able to do it via my mobile phone with just one call attempt. (?).
It was just unfortunate that we were greeted by heavy rains upon our arrival and departure. The staff who fetched us at the port were harried and they did not provide umbrellas for the walk from the boat to the van taking us to the hotel. On the day of our departure, we waded in knee-deep flood waters in the alley on our way to the van taking us to the port. The water went waist-deep at some point but some local residents provided us with a boat but with a fee of 20 pesos per head. I really hope the hotel was more prepared for these situations to help their guests.
At the airport, all flights out of the island were cancelled but the hotel staff helped us look for a place to stay overnight.
Our over-all experience at the resort was pleasant and we will definitely come back there on our next Boracay trip.
