“A toddler delight”

We stayed in Nami last Oct 2011 to celebrate our son's 3rd birthday. It was also his first time in Boracay and we must say he had a grand time. We guess that you can say a lot with the feel of the room when your 3 year old boy spends some time at the beach but requests we "go home" from time to time, going home meaning he wants to go back to our room. He just felt good about being there. The room views are amazing. The food in the restaurant is reasonably good. The staff are friendly. There was just a slight mishap about our reservations with the front desk staff upon arrival due to a miscommunication with the Manila office. The staff was telling me he could not reach the main office for about 4 hours but I was able to do it via my mobile phone with just one call attempt. (?).

It was just unfortunate that we were greeted by heavy rains upon our arrival and departure. The staff who fetched us at the port were harried and they did not provide umbrellas for the walk from the boat to the van taking us to the hotel. On the day of our departure, we waded in knee-deep flood waters in the alley on our way to the van taking us to the port. The water went waist-deep at some point but some local residents provided us with a boat but with a fee of 20 pesos per head. I really hope the hotel was more prepared for these situations to help their guests.

At the airport, all flights out of the island were cancelled but the hotel staff helped us look for a place to stay overnight.

Our over-all experience at the resort was pleasant and we will definitely come back there on our next Boracay trip.

“Again and again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 December 2011

Nami was where I stayed the first time I went to Boracay and I've been back to stay there about ten more times since then. From the pick-up at the airport to the drop-off, the service is excellent... always delivered with a smile. The rooms are cozy and romantic, the food is terrific and the owners are a wonderful family. If you go, you HAVE to take advantage of the trimerame experience. You get your own sunset cruise with fresh sushi, champagne, music and comfort. I can't say anything bad about Nami.

“Rock star experience”

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon in October 2011. Our room looked out over the ocean, and was beautifully kept. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Nice tranquil beach and you can access white beach by walking around past the rocks, though its better to catch the shuttle in to get to the main density of restaurants.

The photos looking out over a picture perfect bay are accurate, by the way.

We've been recommending to our friends! Thank you to everyone at nami for a beautiful stay.

“Excellent view from Nami resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

The Nami is a small hotel on a cliff top accessed by a quaint rickety lift. An attraction and adventure in itself. No swimming pool but has its own deck right on the beach for swimming and snorkelling. Reasonably private with very accomodating staff. The lift takes you right down to the beach were there is waiter service for meals and drinks - luxury.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay.
Well clear of the hectic lifestyle of most of Boracay but only a pleasant10 min beach walk if that is what you want.
All in all - perfect for us. We will be back but with the 4 children next time!!!!.

Room Tip: Not suitable for travellers with mobility problems. All rooms have steps to them as they are built a...

“Sunset Bath with flower pedals overlooking the beach, wowzers.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

Take a look at the brochure and you're sold. Does it live up to the brochure or the website? Yup! This place is awesome, from check-in to check-out.
This place is beautiful. Private little section of the beach with an awesome deck sitting out over the water. This is the quiet part of Boracay, a 5-minute taxi from Station 2 and all of the other hotels and shops. You don't get too many people on the beach which is pretty nice, it's a little more secluded.
The food in the restaraunt is super good. Don't really remember what we had but whatever it was, it was great. Ahh, for breakfast do the Philipino breakfast with the Linguisa sausage, that was the best morning saugage I've ever had.
The layout of the hotel is really awesome. An elevator lift takes you from the deck to the front desk and the rest of the rooms. The rooms are wonderful. Very sleek, pretty simple, super clean and all with a great view and outdoor baths.
The only minuses for this place were that there were no pool and there was a lack of people around enjoying the property. As much as you want to have your own private piece of paradise, it would have been nice to share it with some other couples or families. Basically nobody hangs out on the deck that sits on the beach. What a shame. And the restaraunt is almost 100% vacant, even though it's delicious.
Tips; Go to the bar right next door for a friendly drink. The best food in this area could be the bar two doors down, it's the marine themed restaraunt. That place has a very cool bar and very good food. Get the curry, it was off the charts.
Nami? Yes. The place is real.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are excellent.
