Very good location. In the center of the historic part of Jakarta (Kota). They have very reasonable price. My Superior room has been upgraded up to Continental Deluxe room for free. Breakfast served was more towards local cuisine. One recommendation... do not risk swimming in the pool, it really could be danger for health (photo is very different with actual conditions). Good location near Fatahillah Square, Puppet Museum (Museum Wayang), Jakarta History Museum (Fatahillah Museum), Fine Arts Museum (Balai Seni Rupa), Maritime Museum. Gereja Sion and Glodok are a bit far. Do not follow any local tour guides in Jakarta as then they will request a big money or ask you to buy something. Very reasonable price from Airport to Batavia hotel is IDR 100000 including Tolls!

Upside: Love the breakfast buffet. Lots of varieties.
Downside: A bit rundown and need refurbishment, not so great location.
Overall: OK

I stayed there to celebrate Valentines Day 14Feb2011 with my lover.
I'm really expecting were going to have a very nice day coz were staying in a hotel declaring that they are a 4STAR hotel..
Were so excited seeing the pictures.
When we saw the Hotel from outside its looks like a hunted hotel..
On the way to our room is so quite and scary..
NOT a 4* Hotel! Very Old, Scary, Dirty and a Smelly Hunted Hotel. Im so disappointed :((
Only 2 elevators are working.. they are very old elevator.
When we entered in 5th Floor where are room is, it smells like a cigarette the whole floor.
When we entered in our room so dark, scary, old, ugly and dirty toilet!! First question entered in my mind: "Is this a 4stars Hotel?"
I think in the whole floor were the only one who stayed.
Im so scared and Im very very disappointed!!
Please Dont Stay here.. It will ruined your holiday.

The hotel is an old one and has rooms which are not designed properly and the hotel looks humongous from outside but the facilities and the room are pathetic. The food was also not up to the mark- The rooms were also looking aged.

Best avoided.
