i supposed to stay here during my business trip from Jan 11th until Jan 13th. i order a deluxe room.I checked in around 3 pm. check in process in nice and smooth. the gave me the room in 8th floor. by the way, the hotel lobby is more convenience compare when i stayed there two years ago, thanks to the renovation from the hotel management.
unfortunately, when i enter my room, i found out straight away that the renovation process cause major inconvenience to the guest, well at least to me. the smell of paint from the renovation is still very strong inside of the room. i don't know what kind of paint they are using, but spending 30 minutes in my room with air con on and closed door, made me feel uncomfortable feeling in my breath. i decide that i will not sleep in this room and since i knew that all of their deluxe room is newly renovated so i decide to check out and move to another hotel.
when i check out, i had a positive experience, one of the FO officer (a lady, i forgot the name), gave me the letter stating that i only spend one night in their hotel. she said that i can bring this letter to the travel company which i bought my hotel voucher so i can get a refund from them. and this letter is given without me asking or knowing anything about the possibilities of refund. i appreciate this.
due to their prime location and less expensive price compare to other hotels in senayan area, i will be back to this hotel but maybe a year or two from now...
