After travelling 2 days from Canada, we arrived in Jakarta around midnight, and I was so happy to have this beautiful room booked and able to relax in for 2 nights. I really liked our room with its modern uncluttered look, but that is the style I prefer. We were not able to sample the breakfast buffet due to arrive and departure times, but we were able to both indulge in massages/body scrubs in the beautiful spa on the 6th floor. The outdoor pool looked so inviting, but due to time we were not able to enjoy it. We had a room on the 18th floor, which gave us a great view of the city, especially on New Years Eve 2011 which gave us a spectacular fireworks display for hours!! We both enjoyed this hotel.

We stayed one night here on our return from Bali and found the hotel to be top notch and upto 4 star standards in every respect. The decor is simple and uncluttered, giving the place a very neat look. The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean and well furnished. Bathrooms are well designed and well stocked. The best bit was the breakfast buffet which was more lavish and well run than even the 5 star Sheratons we stayed at in Java. The food was hot and tasted excellent. The location is good, its off a side street but a little far from the malls, shops etc. At our previous Jakarta hotel, we could walk to the malls, here we had to take a short cab ride. For the price, its great value and we will surely return.

The title sums it up, but this four star hotel was a solid choice for our stay in Jakarta. The staff were very helpful, the gym was good, the pool was excellent and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we have seen in SE Asia. the bathrooms and walls could be updated, but for the price this is nitpicking. Overall, a good choice.
