With Mal Taman Anggrek within direct view of Twin Plaza Hotel, you can take a short taxi ride over to the mall if you'd like to take a stroll in the largest shopping mall in Indonesia or you can just admire the view from the outdoor swimming pool. We enjoyed the mornings after breakfast lounging at the pool before exploring the numerous malls in Jakarta. There is not a lot to do around Twin Plaza Hotel if you're looking to walk somewhere in close vicinity from the hotel, but Twin Plaza Hotel seems like a reasonably priced hotel compared to what you may be paying in the heart of downtown Jakarta. We stayed in a couple different rooms over three nights and the rooms were standard sized hotel rooms and maintained well. The internet is reliable although it can be slow at times. They do take security seriously as you have to pass through a metal detector to get into the hotel. We enjoyed the many options of food they offered every morning and it seemed like there was a little something different every morning. They even have an area dedicated just to making omelets for you so that was nice to mix up the options a little bit. My personal favorite breakfast item was the bubur ketan hitam and bubur kacang hijau mixed together with a little bit of coconut milk drizzled over. We don't have anywhere else in Jakarta to compare our stay but we had no complaints at all.
