Stayed 2 nights Oct 2011.
Some of the staff ARE very friendly and will haggle over price, I think we paid about $25 US for a double room.
Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, I'd be amazed if it ever reached any of the rooms.
We were put in the 2 story terrace building at the back, the room seemed ok, if a little dark and dank.
There is no way to seal the rooms, gaps under the doors, in the doors and round the windows.
The first night to fight off the mosquitos we burnt mozzy coils, however... woke up scratching and itching, thought maybe a few mozzies had got me...oh well.
The second night couldn't sleep, when day broke the meagre light through the window showed my arms looked like 2 pieces of salami...bed bugs.
Spent the day trying to soothe the lumps and crazy itching in the pool, which is quite nice, all to no avail.
Staff quote extortionate amounts for taxis. Though they admit insects can be a pest (refund? what does this word mean?)
Took a week for the bumps to disappear and for the itching to stop.
Good luck if you stay here, unfortunately I'd recommend taking a bath in deet first.
