It was very quiet during our stay at the Lhasa Hotel in April 2010, as in, the hotel is very large and there were very few people there. The large restaurants were empty and the staff were sitting in the dark - when we entered, they quickly greated us and turned on the lights...I think they had to round up the chef to cook our dinner which was very good. There were a few more people at breakfast - the food wasn't too bad.
The room we had was your basic room c/w typical hard beds. The mini fridge was handi for beverages. There is O2 in the room if needed.
The hotel seems well located but you'll need to take a cab to get to the Potala Palace and old town.
Although I didn't use the spa / massage facilities, it looked nice and the staff was ready and offered to provide whatever service you wanted :)
