Just stayed for the one night, and for the first time at this hotel.
Impressive entrance lobby, very stylish... getting to the entrance was a bit of a nightmare due to traffic flow arrangements in the entrance drive. It needs someone on the street controlling this. We sat for 15 minutes at a standstill just outside the access gate.
Registration was efficient, and then we got stuck in the lift twice at the wrong floor, because you needed to put the key in the lift control panel, underneath the buttons. Doh !!!!! They do not use key cards, but a sort of electronic metal key, so a bit bulky.... old style.
Room was clean, compact and well appointed. Pillows a bit hard. Could not open windows (typical of many hotels so this hotel is not unique) so got a bit stuffy and warm during the night.... and had to turn off AC in the middle of the night.
Was a non smoking floor but this did not stop smoke from invading the room under the door....again, this is similar to other hotels.
Warning : power sockets are more like the UK/HK three flat pin style, with only one Chinese-2 round pin socket available. No doubt housekeeping would be able to provide adapters if needed.
A word of caution for the bar on 2nd floor..... cocktails are poor, prices are rich.
Breakfast was adequate, and nothing special. Similar to other hotels, nothing more, nothing less.
Would I go back.....? Well, I would not refuse, but it would not be my first choice either. There are better and worse in Nanjing.

I traveled to Nanjing on business and did not feel at all out of place even though I was thousands of miles from home. The staff was so warm and welcoming!

The rooms were very clean and well kept with amenities. I had a robe, slippers and plenty of other amenities waiting for me upon arrival. The view was stunning. I had a very high level room facing the main street/intersection. In the morning you were able to see the local street and foot traffic and at night the amazing night life, well lit sky scraper type buildings and very very busy intersection.

The breakfast included a wide range of options from continental to local foods. Being a vegetarian, I was completely satisfied with the wide array of options. After being there for 7 days, I was still enjoying my breakfast each day and it was my most appetizing meal.

The local area was fun to explore as well. Of course I was with my co-workers or locals which helped in navigating. I definitely would not have been able to go out on my own. We had the opportunity to explore the underground mall and metro system right across the street from our hotel. It was an amazing experience and i recommend everyone visiting to go find this hidden excavation. It really was the highlight of my visit.

In general, the location was great and the quality of service was beyond outstanding. I would stay here on any future business trips.

There are better Hotels in Nanjing but none where you will be looked after like this. From the time you arrive there is a team of people dedicated to making your stay a pleasure.
Well located and close to the main business areas, this a venue that I would recommend.

It's a nice hotel. By no means 5 star although maybe a generation ago it was. The staff are great. The rooms are ok. The lighting is awful and my eyes are aching after two days here. Not just in the rooms but in the restaurants and bar. Bring artificial tears. The bathroom is ok but basically everything needs updating. Breakfast finishes early. 9.30am weekdays, 10.30 weekends. I arrived at 9.40am sunday and everything was gone. When I pointed out that there was nothing left, they brought me a plate of bacon. Oh well. There are two Starbucks close by so all is ot lost. On a positive note, the elevators work well. That is not common in Chinese hotels. This is my second trip here to nanjing. The first time I stayed at the Crowne plaza. It is a bit more modern and cheaper. I don't think either hotel is particularly great but neither is horrible either.
