The JJ hotel was situated in a good location in Wan Chai close to Causeway Bay (15 minutes walk from the noon day gun and shops of Causeway Bay). It was close to an A11 airport transfer bus that cost $40HKD each. It was also close to the fantastic metro system for exploring the wonders of Hong Kong. Based on the 9th - 12th floor of a high rise there was always someone on the door the welcome you in. The reception was very small but staff were helpful. The room was clean and tidy with iron and board on request. The tv had 1 or 2 poor English Chanel's but we were very pleased to find a DVD player in there as well. The DVD library in reception was quite good but the charge of $50HKD for 24hrs struck me as ridiculously excessive considering the locations I'd stayed in before and didn't have to pay premium rates. 
Overall, a good hotel if you are looking to get general value for money. 

We stayed at this hotel for a couple nights. The rooms are really clean. The service was great. The location was amazing. It's a great value for the money.

Room was big for a Hong Kong hotel, very clean, all facilities in good condition. Good location in Wanchai. Considering quite modest price - really nothing to complain about.

We spent about 8 nights is this hotel in December and another 2 in January.
It's located in the perfect area, closed to everything you need, and just 5 min walk from the MTR.
Rooms are clean, bath has all the amenities you need, and the staff is really helpful.
In January it was cold and as I contact the reception they provided immediately a portable heating.
We had troubles sleeping during a weekend because some very unpolite people were walking ad talking right in front of our room and they did not care even if we asked politely that we wanted to sleep and it was 4 am.
But of course this is not a hotels fault ....
They do not serve any breakfast but outside you can eat where you want and prices are really good.
They have a free lugguage deposit (up to 15 days than you pay 20 HK$ per piece per day).
I strongly reccommend this hotel, in a place like HK it's a real value for money.
