This was our 3rd visit to Hong Kong staying at this hotel, initially we stayed for 10 nights in September 2007, at that time only tower 1 was in operation, tower 2 was still being completed and we had a room on the 39th floor which we thought was really spectacular overlooking the water toward Lantau.
The hotel is mindblowing with the extravagent use of glass, marble, stainless steel and varnished hardwoods, apart from the ceilings I do not think there are any painted surfaces. The rooms are a minimum of 300 sq feet in size and are furnished with one or 2 very large beds. All of the rooms we have stayed in were slightly different in size and equipment, I think the high floors in tower 2 are larger than those in tower 1, also all rooms have a small fridge, which is for personal use not an expensive mini bar. Our first stay at this hotel included daily buffet breakfast at "circles" restaurant, I think this is hk$100 per person per day, it is not worth it, the variety of food was excellent however the staff did not appear to know how to prepare and cook western dishes. There are many good eating places within a few minutes undercover walk from the hotel and there is also a local supermarket for provisions to stock up the fridge.
The hotel is very easy to get to, at Hong kong airport purchase an octopus card at the HKTA desk then follow the signs to the bus station, bus A31 runs every 20 mins and terminates across the road from the hotel cost about 15 hk$. From the hotel to Kowloon or Hong Kong island takes less than an hour including walking to the metro station, again the fare is paid with the octopus card. All types of shops and facilities are available within a short walk including a full service laundry.
The hotel lobby has several computers for using the internet however I found these were generally configured for asian search engines also the keyboard letters were worn away and it was much easier to use the free wifi in surrounding shopping areas.
After our first stay at this hotel we thought it would never again be affordable to us, however the law of supply and demand or as the chinese say "seafood pricing" allows for some very good deals at certain times.
After 3 trips to this place in 4 years I am all Hong Konged out at present but would certainly return in the future.
Room Tip: Request non smoking high floor.
