Me and my husband stayed in this hotel for 2 days. I never expected the room is very small. I have tried to stayed at other budget hotels previously and their rooms were not as small as Silka Far East... The only goog point in this hotel is that they are
very near to Tsuen Wan Station, near to malls, shops and resto but we will not definitely come back in this hotel ever again.

The hotel being away in Tsuen Wan, I was expecting a large room. Like the one I had earlier seen in Panda Hotel that is located in the same area. But Silka Far East room was tiny. May be 7'x7'. The shower area was so small, the shower curtain is sure to touch your body while you shower. Only saving grace, the room and the bathroom were clean. Free bus from outside the hotel (opposite side of the road) to Airport (Bus Number A31) was another benefit. The difference in the tariffs of Panda and Silka are so small, I see no point in staying in this hotel again.

We expected the rooms to be small since its a budget hotel. However, the beds are hard! didn't get much sleep because of it. Rooms didn't have heater (and i'm not talking about water heater).

the only great about this hotel is it's near the MTR about10mins walk and mall/restaurants in the area.

I'm tempted to give a poor rating because of the following points: small room, small bathroom & repeat breakfast menu but still I will retain my average rating. Well, the location is great-close to MTR, malls, park bus stations, 7 eleven etc which are really convenient for first timers like us. But the room is really small. When I lay down in bed I can hear the other room's noise and most of the time-the shower or a running water inside the pipe. But I was too tired to complain about it.Breakfast has lots of options but they didn't change it. They have free internet on the 6th floor too. Take note that they're charging 30HKD per hour for an internet connection. That saddens me.
