a "good" budget hotel; "better" because of the discounted rates we got.

we booked 4 months before our visit through asiarooms.com, and got half-off the original tariff per night. the room we booked included a "buffet" breakfast, and although they had limited choices, we were always happy to get out of bed and eat in the morning. best part is the location! its in the middle of kowloon, just two streets from temple st., the jade market and food street. there is also a mall just a few meters away, a 7-11 right beside the main entrance, and the MTR is just a 5-8 minute walk from the hotel. the staff are very helpful, and would do their best to help with anything you need (even setting-up the internet on our notebooks). although the room was small and the hotel a bit old, it was cozy, had a full minibar, a kettle with coffee and tea, and a full closet with shelves.

Our family of 4 stayed at their family room (4 single beds). It was tight, but we managed, since we are out touring most of the day anyways. Bell boy guy quite cheerful and helpful. We got the office lady to scan a document for us. Internet and phone calls are free. Breakfast used to be included, not as Jan 1, one must pay a bit more for the room to be included, or one can pay for it separately.

Stayed there last jan 22-24 2012. Rm 210. Front desk very helpful, tall bellboy guy polite and cheerful. Very accomodating people. English basic but clear. 7-11 nearby. Rooms clean. Definitely a sweet spot in Jordan area.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is budget category but its location is very convenient. Jordan MTR is just 10 minutes walk. A 21 Bus from airport stops at Stop No 10 which is just 500 metres away but you have to come across a street by using a under pass. The room is very small since Hong Kong is compactly built. There is 7-11 store and MacDonald nearby this hotel. There is also a Local Food Centre nearby. There is also a famous Night Market just outside this hotel. Since the Metro trains of Hong Kong are very efficient and convenient it was nice staying in this hotel.
