I have been to Hong Kong on few occasions, and every time that I do, I try to stay at Shamrock. Breakfast is good. The staff are so nice & helpful, the rooms are small thoughbut clean and the hotel is well situated. Located in Nathan Road and the Jordan MTR is just right at your doorstep. TST market is just a stone throw away. It’s worth the penny.

Finally decided to travel to Hong Kong. While we have travelled to farther places, this is our first time to be in Hong Kong.

We know that hotels can be expensive, especially those along Nathan Road.

Not for this hotel. Shamrock Hotel is situated along the shopping area of Nathan Road. It seems that everything is accessible from the hotel. Price is just right.

The hotel is very near Jordan station. This makes it easy for travelers to go around HK via MTR.

For those looking for a gastronomic adventure, there are several local eating places nearby. For those who are less adventurous, there are at least two McDonald's in the area.

The rooms of the hotel are small. If you are claustrophobic , you may want to skip this hotel. But it was adequate for our needs. A place to sleep and refresh and keep our stuff. Tall people (6ft+) may find the shower area limiting, watch the head room.

Breakfast selection is typical Chinese dishes. If you have a set menu (processed meat), you may want to look for other alternatives.

When we go back to Hong Kong we will still stay in this hotel again. It's location won us over.


Pusang Gala (The Traveling Cat)

Stayed for 3 nights - two rooms from 18-21 dec 2011. Though the rooms were small, they were spotless. Breakfast and service were excellent. The location is best with Jordan Exit C1 next door and bus stop for Bus No 9 right in front (from Tsim Tsha sui ferry point). Travel with Octopus card was a breeze.

Stayed there last August. i recommend this hotel because its very accessible. near the subway, nathan road and you can walk when you want to go to temple street and night markets. the staff are also good and very courteous.

just across the street is a money changer and a mall (dont remember the name though)
also near the shopping district..hehhe
