Well, this is was the first time that I had been out of Europe and the heat was amazing, so staying in this lovely hotel made it all better and I really got used to the heat quickly.
The room was a twin room on the 7th floor (if I remember correctly) and it was lovely. It was clean, the bathroom was nice and all in all was a really great room.
I only went to the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast one day because it was quite expensive (as expected in a hotel), but I went to Teresa's Café which is just next door and did cheap breakfasts (even did a bacon sandwich, which I was craving at one point) and I went for a meal a couple of times too. I really recommend going there.
The location on Waterloo Road I found to be great even though it's not incredibly close to an MTR station, I found the 10 minute walk to Yau Ma Tei rather nice.
I didn't have much to do with the staff, but when I did, they were always very helpful and attentive.
The swimming pool on the roof is an absolute godsend in the heat and I thoroughly urge you to go up and try it.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be staying there again in Summer 2012, booking through Dial-A-Flight because they have cheaper prices at the moment.
