I spent a night at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and was quite impressed with the hotel, their rooms, facilities and service.
Checking in and out was a breeze, and the front desk was quite helpful and pleasant. Also the rooms at this hotel are very well designed, using every inch to maximize comfort: the bed was super comfortable and had a great view of the IFC tower, and the arm chair offered a really relaxing place to unwind with a drink and watch some tv.
While the bathrobes were nice and soft and the June Jones bath products smell great, I wasn't too impressed with their slippers (maybe I'm the only person who looks at the quality of the slippers as an indicator of quality).
This hotel does have great location for business travelers as it's right near the Hong Kong Convention Center and the Wan Chai metro stop.
I didn't have a chance to try it, but apparently their Plateau Spa is also considered one of the best in Hong Kong.
Anyway, I'd recommend this hotel for business travelers or for anyone who's a part of a Hyatt rewards club. Luxury travelers can also consider it as an option, but they may want to stay in a smaller, more-intimate hotel.
