Around 15-20 minute drive from Central, located in an out of the way place on southside of HK, not much in vicinity, dull, no MTR, taxi or bus into town. As long as you know this before you arrive then you won't be disappointed. But if you expecting the hustle and bustle of HK, the lights, sound and action, then wrong place. Not good for kids, kind of a business hotel trying to be a bit arty which is weird and artificial, like the whole cyberport area. Outrageous the hotel charges HK$150/day for internet when it is free in the cyberport area! Just step outside hotel and get free access. This really leaves you feeling ripped off.

I stayed at this hotel for one night during last week of April on a business trip. The hotel presents a very modern look and appears quite bright.

The room size was average, perfect for a business traveler. The restaurant offers some good choices and the chef went out of his way to accommodate my vegetarian tastes.

The hotel appears to be in an area that looks quite residential. Found this to be a little out of place. I was mandated to stay at this hotel by the client.

I stayed at Le Meridien Cyberport twice over the last weeks and enjoyed both stay very much, mainly due to the very attentive, friendly and quick service of all staff members. They made the stays memorable and very pleasant.

I had two rooms booked and as a SPG Platinum member both rooms got upgraded to an ocean view room, which was very nice. Also, breakfast benefits were extended to both rooms, which was not Standard, but which I greatly appreciated and my family was extremely thankful for. The standard rooms as such are well equipped and fine, but I just do not fully like the new Meridien concept (which I have experienced at several properties around the world) of minimalism and modern style: it lacks charme. A few pieces of art and pictures on the walls would be nice.
The suite we had at our second stay was quite different, filled with art pieces, and very nicely designed and furnished, we enjoyed this room a lot.

We very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet: the dim sum were amazing, the dishes freshly prepared and a lot of choice. Also, every day there were a few special dishes that changed frequently. Everything was tasty, the service fast and friendly and everything we needed available.

The gym was well equipped and the pool looked very nice (it was too cold to swim though). The hotel bar was a great place to hang out in the evening and have a drink and also there, it was no problem to get some late-night snacks that were not available on the menu (they whipped up a Cessar salad and a BLT at 11PM, which were very tasty).

The location of the hotel is very nice as it is a little further from the city, which means it is more quite. There is a small mall next door with a few dining options as well as a grocery store with a wonderful Sushi bar for take-outs. A taxi to Central costs 60HKD and is very convenient. The views of the bay are beautiful...

Hotel pickup and drop off service from/to airport was reliable and with very comfortable cars. All in all impeccable service and a wonderful stay. We would definitely rerturn.

This is a first-rate hotel, the staff were all extremely attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. The room was of a modern, futuristic style but this did not take away from its warmth. The only slight issue is the location which is 20 minutes away (by taxi or shuttle) from the busy side of HK Island. Given the location we would have expected the hotel shuttle to have been complimentary for guests, although it was slightly cheaper than taking a taxi every time. Other than that, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
