We stayed over Chinese New Year. Overall a nice stay, shuttle service makes being off metro line easier but not 100% ease. Good value for waterfront. Food was subpar for the cost...eat away if you can.

Just arrived back from a trip to Hong Kong and stayed at the Harbour Grand. Fantastic hotel and the staff were a great help as our time there was limited until we flew back to Heathrow. We had a club harbor view room which was just perfect. Breakfast in the club lounge on the 19th floor was gorgeous. You could have afternoon tea and snacks and then on an evening they serve food with wine, coffee etc. just perfect after a busy day chasing around the city. Used the star ferry which was so cheap and also used the metro. Very easy to understand and again you can ride around for next to nothing. UK take note. ! We went on the Big Red Bus Tour which we saw advertised. Open top bus with commentary through earphones. Great value and you can get off and on when it suits you. Great time had in Hong Kong thanks to this great hotel.

We stayed at the Harbour Grand Kowloon in January. Although the weather was not particularly kind to us, we were very impressed with the welcome we received from all the staff at the Harbour Grand, but particularly special mention to Jean at Reception in the Harbour Club on the 19th Floor who could not have been friendlier.
We stayed in a Harbour Club room with views over the harbour. The room was clean and up to the expected standard, although not remarkable in any respect - expect of course for the view which was fantastic (even with grey skies on most days).
Yes - this hotel is further away from the hustle of the city, but that has some benefits and we found the free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui to be a perfectly acceptable way to get to and from. The shuttle bus runs every half hour and takes just 10 minutes to deliver you outside the Peninsula Hotel. From here you have very easy access to the Star Ferry or MTR.
Our trip was timed with the Chinese New Year celebrations and we enjoyed watching the fireworks from the roof deck - although the view was slightly restricted due to some annoying satellite dishes! Watching all the boats on the harbour more than made up for that however. Additionally the food was tasty, the staff fantastic and the wine continually flowing - a very enjoyable evening.
Oh and the marble staircase is beautiful - plenty of wedding photo opportunities taking place there as previous reviewers have said!
Would definitely recommend this hotel - harbour view a must! Thank you Harbour Grand Kowloon!

As far as Hong Kong hotels go, this has several USP's.
1) Very relaxing setting with lovely views of the harbour and a lovely promenade.
2) Awesome rooftop pool
3) A lttile cut away in terms of location, which means it's not that crowded. However it's a looooong walk to the MRT so you have to depend on taxi or shuttle bus.

Being on the Kowloon side it's closer to TST, but if you want to be near Central or Wan Chai, this is probably not the best.

Good business hotel. Popluar for flight crew and weddings as there always seems to be one of the two present at the reception.
