This hotel once again lives up to my expectations and quite a deal too. I had to return to Hong Kong on a very last minute trip staying from 23-26 January. However, during that time it was Chinese New Years and most of the hotels in HK are either fully booked or outrageously expensive. Luckily there was still a room availalble in Dorsett and at a very good deal from TripAdvisors which was 35% off with breakfast for a three night stay. The breakfast was very tasteful and the quality of the staff remains as professional and helpful as usual. Don't let the location of the hotel fool you, this hotel is worth every penny and they deliver more that expected. I will recommend this hotel to all business travellers.

Unless you know your HK transport system, the location is just a little too far... Somehow managed to get by by taking the red minivans to/from Mongkok & Causeway Bay... super fast!!!

Read about the MLC tour groups from other reviewers... I realized generally this is not a problem cos all of them want to get to their room fast and they will squeeze themselves into one lift... (Amazing, I know!) So you only have to wait for the next lift :)

We arrived in HK airport in Jan, 15. It was raining outside. We took Airport Express directly to Hongkong Station. Come out of the MRT station from A exit. You will find a Starbucks coffee, just outside of which is the place to wait for their shuttle bus, opposite of IFC(International Financial Centre). I didn't find their shuttle bus, so I called the hotel. They told me to wait there for 20 minutes. Then the shuttle bus came. It took only 15 to 20 minutes to the hotel. The lobby is a little bit disappointed, it is small and crowded. We reserved the deluxe room with seaview. They gave us a room in 29th floor. The room is pretty large and comfortable. Breakfast is also good and tasteful. Nearby community is typical hongkong ordinary livehood. There are several large supermarkets there, including P(百佳） and Wellcome（惠康). And also a lot of choices of local Cantonese food restaurants. We are quite satisfied with our choice and enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel was new, the room was excellent and the buffet breakfast was good. The provided a free shuttle bus to the MTR and Airport express stations, but this was only during the day (not after 8pm).The location is inconvenient to get home after this time (some taxi drivers refused to take us when we got out at the current closest MTR station), but will be fine when the new MTR station opens soon. Be wary of the cleanliness of the spa baths (although ours looked clean, when filled and spa jets turned on a significant number of foreign hairs appeared...).
