Very peaceful and beautiful! We had one of the double bed rooms and it had a cute little sofa and antique-looking vanity inside the room. My mother and brother had a twin room and theirs was much more simple and had none of the extra furnishings. The courtyard was very peaceful and we enjoyed relaxing there. They bring in food if you order it but it was all very good. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, with great English! Not super close to the metro, but there is a bus stop right on the main road outside the hutong, and taxis are dirt cheap.
