Very helpful staff. Some tourist attractions within walking distance. E.g. Temple of Heaven and Tianqiao Acrobatic Theater. Also good public bus connections to other parts of the city. Within walking distance (25 min) of Tiananmen Square. Liked it.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. On the first day we tried to manage our daytours on our own. That's quiet difficult in a forein country with such a diffrent way of life. We don't know how to get to the most intressing spots. At the second day we ask at the reception for help. The hotel manager was very friendly and planed our trip for the next day. We had our own bus and driver for the hole day. The manager told us a lot of points of intrests next to Beijing. He also write our day trip in chinese letters for the driver.
We've been to the "Ming Tombs", the "Sacred Way", the "Great Wall", the "Dr. Tea House" and at a factory where Ming dishes has been produced. I think the planed day of the hotel boss was the best day a beijing. He also pick us up with his car and drove us around in beijing. So we saw the pearl market, the silk market and a market where only inhabitants of bejing went out for shopping. That was perfect! The prices for the bus and the entrance-fee can be payed in the hotel. He is is an absolutly trustable man.

The rooms are very big a clean! A small kitchen was also there with a refrigerator. The beds are in a perfect condition. This hotel was a stroke of luck.

The RJ Brown is a good stay for a few night. The rooms are moderate. The beds are pretty hard.
Breakfast is oke.
The hotel is in the south west of Beijing. Not the best location. But taxi's are cheap.
Temple of Heaven is on short distance.
Few restaurants in neighberhood. Ter eis a restaurant nextdoor with pizza's and internet.
