I spent few nights at the hotel and had the advantage of having a local guy as my translator/guide who helped getting the most out of the hotel. Only few members of staff spoke English, for instance a call to the room service took several people to find someone with English skills.
Fairly large and clean enough room with comfy bed (not very soft though), massive pillows (had to ask slim ones for me). Dozens of local TV stations, a PC (with Chinese language) in the room with an internet access. A minibar. Iron and a board had to be requested separately.
Okay breakfast, good local food in the restaurant, but lacking atmosphere... Avoid "the international restaurant" offering in the evenings and go for the Chinese stuff instead.
Bar in the lobby was always empty in the evenings.
By Chinese standards this is probably 4-5 star hotel, 2-3 by western standards.
