very good hotel with excellent facilities for dinning, shops, meetings, conferences, seminars and holidays. The hotel has three towers, tower A is farthest from the busy main road and tower C is very close to the busy main road. The hotel offers a large choice of dinning restaurants and serves a wide range of buffet dinning. There is a coffee shop also on the ground floor lobby. The internet facility is free and the speed was good.

I stayed at this hotel over the winter with a group from my school for about 3 days. The hotel was very accommodating to our large group (about 25). The rooms were very nice with all the basic amenities. One nice perk was that there were two showers, one was a stand up and one was a tub. The only complaint I had was that the thermostat was very unpredictable. Many times we would come back to the room and it would be almost 90 degrees, while other times it would be freezing. The complimentary breakfast was very good with lots of authentic Chinese cuisine and many choices. Additionally, there is a place to exchange currencies an they have a good exchange rate as well.

This hotel where I and my friend stayed for 2 days has three towers and we stayed in Tower C. The rooms are well maintained and spacious. The room where we stayed in was large, air conditioned and well furnished. The bathroom was quite clean and modern. The staff were concerned about our comforts and their service was good. But not everyone knew to converse in English. The food was utterly Chinese. We had to walk to KFC to enjoy meals during our stay here. The swimming pool here is good. I felt that this place would have been excellent if only we were Chinese.

especially if you are a tourist -do yourself a favor and stay in a nice location in Dongcheng (East Beijing).
if you are a hard-nosed, fluent Mandarin speaker in love with Chinese government hotels, then you can save yourself a few bucks over a Western chain in Dongcheng.
