This hotel claims to be one of the 5 best hotels in Beijing. I find it a slight exaggeration. In general the hotel is fine but only fine. It’s situated 30-minutes walk from the Tiananmen Square; the rooms are clean and comfy but I found them a bit depressing (there’s something sad about the colors); bathroom a bit old-fashioned but clean; breakfast buffet ok. I travelled with a group of friends and some of them had problems with heating. Some rooms were extremely cold and there was no way to heat them up because the windows were leaky. The hotel staff could not fix the problem and only suggested setting the heating at max temperature which did not help at all. One thing I highly recommend is head and shoulders massage that I went to at 1 am and was one of the best massages I ever experienced . Globally I would say the hotel is average.
