In March my wife and I plus a busload of others were accommodated overnight by the airline in this dubious establishment after a nightmare delayed Air China flight from Jakarta. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere beside a motorway interchange close to the airport. Apart from a grandiose concrete portico and a giant sign on the roof above it could have been just any other factory or institution. Whilst our room was bearable and reasonably clean everything else about the place was dreadful; the food, eaten off filthy tablecloths was awful, the staff almost to a man/woman were rude and miserable. At the table most guests ate in their coats to keep warm. The vast foyer was sparsely decorated with cheap steel garden furniture, two shops sold tourist tat and other essentials at crazy inflated prices.
Pretty much the most undesirable place it has been our displeasure to inhabit-avoid it at all costs-even if Air China is paying.
