My family stayed in room 1318 from 10 to 14 Dec 2011 & room 0635 from 15 to 20 Dec 2011 for a total of 9 nights! A local friend of our group booked our rooms on a corporate rate which was very reasonable!
The staffs at the front desk & lobby were friendly & helpful so our check-in & check-out were fast! The rooms we had were with a Double bed and an extra single bed, the bathroom was big and comfortable. Beside complimentary daily wash up items, we were also given complimentary fruits daily.
As for the swimming pool at the fitness centre, it is from 1.2m deep, no children's pool, so not really suitable for family with very young children! Please note that the water wasn't warm when we were there. The fitness & changing rooms were quite well equipped.
Our room booking included daily complimentary breakfast, the buffet spread at Scene a Cafe was superb! We had few types of fresh juices and fruits, 6 types of cereals with choice of dried fruits & nuts to add! There were Western, Chinese & Japanese cooked food! The pastries were freshly baked and delicious. On 2 mornings, our friend was not able to join us for breakfast, we were allowed to pack some pastries and drinks for her at no charge which we appreciate the wonderful service on the cafe side.
The hotel is linked to a mall with ice-skating rink which is good for families with kids like ours. The subway is 5mins walk away.
Overall, i find this hotel excellent!
