This hotel is located in a hotel/office complex in West Beijing. I have stayed many times for convenience due to the fact that my company is located in the office part of this complex. However, this hotel does try and make every effort to bring itself in line with usual Marrott standards. The rooms are large with all normal facilities, bathrooms large (however can be prone to normal lacklustre Chinese plumbing issues......either hot water all the time or cold water all the time etc). Super buffet breakfast and excellent gym facilities (free use of the Gym based in the office complex part of building). Staff very friendly and eager to help.
For the tourist traveller this is probably the least desireable area to be based. Its about a 45 minute taxi ride from the main tourist areas of East and North Beijing. The local area around this hotel is mainly local and therefore most restaurants, bars do not have English worded menus or English speaking staff. Most important tip for a traveler at this hotel is:-........for the non-smoker, ensure you reserve a "no-smoking" room and refuse to take anything else if you are told upon check-in that all "no-smoking" rooms are already taken.....they will find one for you eventually! Also, ensure your room does NOT have an interconnecting door to the next room..........typical Chinese built hotels have very thin walls and if you also have an interconnecting door then you will be able to hear exactly what is going on in the next room!
