Didn't know what to expect as we hadn't been to China before. Pleasently surprised. Room was clean and bathroom well stocked with all the necessities.
Breakfast was buffet with plenty of choice.
If you go for the massage in the basement make sure you carry cash ... they would not take credit card or charge it to the room.
Swimming pool ... a swimming cap must be worn but they do not supply them ... take your own.

We were very nervous about staying here after the recent review which said it was dirty and smelly. We even wrote to Thomson to ask if they had vetted it thoroughly. It was absolutely fine. It was clean everywhere (except maybe the vacuum cleaner was not as efficient as a Dyson), the carpet did have a piece of cotton on it which was there throughout our stay. Apart from that it was spotless. The staff were not actually unfriendly as the previous reviewer had said, it is just that the Chinese take things so seriously and they try so hard to do everything right for you. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and it was not too expensive.

It´s one of the worst hotels I've ever visited.
The food was mediocer, the prices incredible ( seven dollars for a bottle of mineral water that costs 50 cent in the store next door ) The scenery is motorways on three sides of the hotel. And the rooms. Small and the smell is awful.We complained and looked (or rather smelled) in five rooms, but they were all the same.
The light-yellow carpets were black in the corners and the staff didn't care at all.
The beds were so hard, noone could sleep. When we complained, we had one extra pillow each.
