Location is good as it is just 10 minutes walk from the shopping district of Wang Fu Jing.
However, taxi driver could not find the hotel as it is not known as "Wangfujing Guesthouse hotel: but rather "She Ke Bo Yuan Hotel”. It is some institution with hotel rooms anyway.

The room allocated to me was bad. There was strong cigarette stench in the room and the toilet flush was faulty. We asked for a change of room, only to be informed that the suite is available and we need to pay an additional few hundreds (almost additional US$200 per night) for it.The staff came up to repair the flush everyday, causing much inconvienece. There was a day whereby the "water" from the toilet bowl flooded the entire bathroom. It was disguisting and entering the bathroom was a nightmare to me everyday.

The bed was very hard as well, it felt like I was sleeping on the ground. TV channels were not clear and they featured only Mandarin channels.

If you just need a sleeping place, the price is affordable; room is rather spacious and location is pretty good. Otherwise, it is a nightmare.
