The tents were amazing and extremely luxurious. The staff were all friendly and helpful and you could see that they were very passionate about their roles at the camp. They went out of their way to organise little competitions such as omlette making and cocktail making, which I thought was a fantastic way to get guests to interact with other. Evening entertainment was plentiful. Food was fantastic and the staff happily fulfilled my request for a small birthday cake and sing along.

I had a wonderful and memorable experience in the wild Mara for our honeymoon. We chose to have wonderful time in the wild so we booked Mara Sopa and Mara Sarova. I must say my wife and I really enjoyed the food and the hospitality of the staff. We stayed in Tent 63 which is on the edge. Almost next to the fence.It was quiet peaceful and relaxing.
The rooms were very clean and this made us enjoy our stay.The sound of birds,cricket,and other animals was soothing and a little scary especially for the wild animals.

Our experience one night as we were heading for dinner, we had some motion in the bushes as we were scared to "death". We asked for security escort to our room only to meet Topi.

After having spent two weeks working on building projects in central Kenya, I was ready for a bath and some good food. The Sarova Mara far exceeded any expectations that I had about 'tent' camps. Upon arrival, we were greeted and taken directly to the outstanding lunch buffet while our bags were transported to our tents. The food, the scenary, the grounds and the accomodations are all superb; the Sarova might be the best place I have ever stayed, since I normally travel on a tight budget. While we paid a resonable price for our 3 nights stay, the Sarova is anything but budget.
Not only is the food exquisite and the atmosphere divine, but the poolside relaxation was heaven-sent.

I have never stayed in a lodge as beautiful as Sarova Mara.

We were arranged to stay there by our safari agent. We've paid a high (all safari are high anyways) price for the 4 days tour though.

I looked up here in Trip Advisor after checked in the hotel just to how high ranked the hotel is within the area. (Surprisingly low 5/8??? Impossible!). I realized that it's because our tent was upgraded to club tent. The rack rate was $800 USD on it's website.

The tent has a double side glass door. The tent inside is decorated to excellent. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Turn down at night made the room into a super comfortable paradise. They use the most beautiful mosquito net I've ever seen. They also bring hot water bottle to warm up the bed. Food was excellent even for pack lunch. After dinner, a warm shower and nice soft dressing gown and nicely scented lotion guarantee you a good night sleep.

I honestly loved the lodge and will go back with the family in the future.

I believe maybe our tour agent brings enough customers to the lodge and that's why we got the upgrade. Our Safari agent was Marble Travel Bureau in Nairobi. Ask for Caroline or Miriam. They were so helpful in all aspects. They were recommended by Hilton Nairobi.
