good place where to stay just the location on the map here is wrong....the hotel is closer to the railwaystation and not on the nile.

This was an excellent budget choice! The breakfast far surpasses anything else we have had in Egypt and the staff were smiley and helpful. Our room was pretty good although the shower was a wee bit small. Internet was also a bit sporadic. We took a tour from them as well which was outstanding - one of the best guide we have had for a long time! We would not hesitate to go back and thoroughly recommend it.

I completely recommend this place to all backpackers from all over the world! I wish we'd met more people around Egypt like the lovely and lively staff at the Oasis... I will definitely go back there if I ever return to Luxor, most people who experience it do! And for very good reasons.

Must say very pushy for sales and tours, we took a tour and must say was not impressed at all. The tour was more expensive then other hotels and I am sure of less quality. The guide read almost everything from book and when asked questions either avoided it or made something up. We were stopped in an alabaster factory and were badgered like crazy to purchase things. Then on our return the guide was very insistant with getting tips from us all. Once getting back to the hotel to try relax I was asked numerous times in not a round about way if I was going to write a good review on the hotel and the tour, very annoying.! Honestly I would not recommend this hotel to anyone im more annoyed than anything and it looks nothing like you see on the websites.
