Booked into here as part of a very dubious tour December 2009. Room covered in sewerage, nothing worked, complained to hotel stafff, who did nothing. We were threatened by tour operators for not ringing them about problems with the room despite having rung Cairo hostel we organised tour through .As part of so called tour only booked in here for about 7 hours. in total. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Have been to this area twice in the past few years prior and will never had problems. Dirty, over priced and scary. Staff would not tell us room rate as we came on a tour booking *see my review for Cairo) Have visited Egypt many times, but never again after this trip.

“They have a bad reputation for a good reason”
The accommodation in itself was not that bad.
I was asked no less than 4 times if I wanted to book a tour despite repeatedly explaining to them that I was leaving the next day. Worst thing was is that I had to leave because the place was full........so they knew anyway.
Typical of traveling in Egypt !!!!!!!!!!!

They entered our room, open our bags and stole things we bought in another places visited before. We made the report in the Tourist Police and they were very worried about that.

“Dangerooousss”
be careful if you go yo aswan.. dont go to nubian oasis hotel.. they have an organised trip to abu simbel.. 3:00 am to 3:00 pm... and they enter to your room... and they stole your bags... they stole me the camera and money... if it happents to you.. go to the tourist police.. and it is bad for they because.. they looked very worrys.... dont stay in nubian oasis

“the hotel and the tour is good”
I was in this hotel all the staff they say to me that they change it
and i see the new mangement is very good
the hotel was good they have avery beauty aswan nile view in the roof top
the room was good
i have book abusimbel tour and felucca tour it was good
