For a super-budget hotel, this place was great. Most of its charm came from the affable proprietor, Samir, who made us feel so very welcome with his smiles and his hibiscus tea.
The hotel has a wonderful sixth-floor restaurant and bar that overlooks the Nile. You can open the sliding windows and take in the fresh breezes and beautiful scenery of Aswan.
Accomodations are basic--nothing fancy, and you may prefer your own towel to theirs. But the showers are good and everythign works.
If you aren't expecting luxury, you'll be very happy with this budget hotel.
