Good location on high ground overlooking the nile, brilliant views of the botalical islands and the feluca's sailing at sunset, very close to the nubian museum ( which has good displays and lovely gardens/waterfalls). Had a lovely room on the 4th floor with terrace balcony, including sunbeds and dinning table ideal for a private meal overlooking the nile. Staff were very helpful, very large, quiet pool with swim-up pool bar and plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was good with varied choice, omelettes, cheeses, salad, breads etc and lots of fresh coffee, would definatley stay again, November was a good time to travel ( averaged about 25 so not too hot ) lots to see in Aswan, especially Phillae Temple and Kalabsha, Markets much larger and more traditional than Luxor lots of bargans to be had, especially silver jewelry and egyptian oils.Recommed a felluca trip to the botanical islands, and sailing back by the old Cateract Hotel and Elephantine.
Room Tip: High floors are quieter, ask for Nile facing
