My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of checking into this hotel for 2 nights before we, in desperation, were able to arrange for another hotel. From the very beginning, the check-in staff was rude and refused to honor my reservation. Despite showing everyone from the bellman to the hotel manager my confirmation with the rate and dates listed, they simply shrugged and said it was not in their system. The manager then told me we could leave or....he would do us a "favor" and allow us to take a room at a much higher rate. Not having a choice, we paid the ransom for what ended up being a disgusting room. I have stayed in dodgy backpackers that were cleaner. Initially not willing to move us, eventually they relented and moved us to another barely acceptable but sub-standard room. Their service standards did not get any better. They wanted to charge us to heat the supplied bottled water to make tea. They tried to charge us to bring us a spoon to use in the room. Want to use the internet? 6 USD for 30 minutes and of course - "the internet is not working on your floor. You can however sit in the lobby and use it." Ridiculous. There is a safe in the room - but it is small and not bolted to anything. Some safety. Never again would I stay here, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone else - ever!
