Not sure about the name shown here in TA but we just knew it as Pharaohs Hotel, Cairo.
We stayed on two occasions during a tour of Egypt. The first time we were underwhelmed by our two rooms (for a family of four) on the 6th floor which were quite dark with no real view to speak of and the TV didn’t work very well. But we’d just arrived after about 26 hours of traveling so were grateful to lay our heads down. Room service was okay but culture shock had kicked in. The shower was good though after running the water for a bit.
Second stay was much better. The rooms (two again) were on the fifth floor and had views to the Nile and were larger with newer TVs (not that we judge by that).
The bar downstairs has Wifi as well as a couple of computers for free use by guests and was a great spot for relaxing and having a drink - alcohol is available. Breakfast was in the restaurant downstairs and was adequate with the option to have an omelette. There is also a restaurant on the top floor where we got room service from which was okay. Second breakfast was a takeaway breakfast box which consisted of bread rolls, pastries, an orange, juice box and butter and jams.
The staff were always very nice and helpful.
The hotel was part of our tour (so not our choice) but was comfortable enough with a supermarket within easy walking distance as well as a KFC, Domino’s and various eateries.
