I just stayed at this hotel in Feb., 2010. I was pleasantly surprised. Its a nice hotel with a restaurant/gift shop/pastry shop. The staff (except the front desk) were reasonably friendly,
most of whom speak decent English. The bed was comfy, but the room was small.
But I did have a nice view of the pyramids and the Nile.
The bad side was... If you want to use their internet, you have to buy access time in blocks. I only ever got 1 hour at a time (11 LE). And their internet is SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWW.
I gave the hotel only 2 stars for Sleep Quality because of the noise level in the surrounding area. I was constantly awakened by horns honking, dogs barking, and the
5 am call to prayer that came from the loudspeaker on the mosque just across from the hotel.
Some of this I could have avoided if I left my window closed (which seemed to do a good job of keeping out the noise level). But I can't sleep in a room if its stuffy or too warm.
But all in all, it was a nice stay for 6 nights.
